That is one of the sweetest pictures I've seen. You are so lucky that they hit it off the way they did. I'll let you know how Tory and Jack do. Only 3 more days :)

Barb,

Don't be too upset if they don't hit it off right away. Moka took about 2 days to accept Avery.

Once you decide to get a puppy, it is soooo hard to wait.  I am envious that you get your new puppy tomorrow.  I have to wait until late July at the earliest.  The momma has to come in season and the breeding has to work... Well you get the picture.  Be sure and post pictures as soon as you can. Keep the camera ready so you can capture your babies first experiences in his new home.  What time tomorrow?  Or how many hours, minutes and seconds?  When we travel without our four legged kids, my hubbie and I on the last day of the trip start counting down the hours and minutes until dog time.  Can't wait to see the pictures.

Are you soooo excited for tomorrow??, LOL, I know Everyone else is!! How far do you have to go to get him??
I will be checking in all day to see when he is home & how Tory is taking to his new little brother. I missed the puppy breath with Gunner, he was 4 months old. I wish you could put puppy breath on the forum, LOL

OK, so here is the scoop. I talked with the breeder last night and we decided I would be picking up Jack at 11:00 am. We have a 3 1/2 hour drive to get there. As I was leaving work tonight she called and is going to be in a town that is only 2 1/2 hours away tomorrow so she can save us some time on our trip, bad news is she will not be there until much later than 11:00. She wasn't sure what time yet, but will let me know before 9 tonight which is 1/2 hour from now. On the one hand a total of 2 hours of driving time saved vs. getting Jackson that much sooner. I think I'm leaning towards the later.

Texas Belle, I wish you all of the best "waiting for your pup" I'm telling you the last 3 weeks have been hell (pardon my language) I cannot imagine what 4 months would be like. We are there for you.

Alice and Renee' I will try sending pictures via my blackberry once I get Jack picked up, if I can figure out how to use it.

I will post pictures as soon as I get home, well not as soon as, but once Tory and Jack are acquainted.

Ooooh I have not forgotten about any of you. It has been quite a long day though. I must say Jack has been so great. Comes to his name called, potties outside, goes into his crate, he's asleep in there now. So far so good. I just love him so much it brings me to tears.  Here are some pictures.

This one turned out kindof cool

The walk home after Jack and Tory met

My 18 year old son and Jackson

Jack and Tory's B-day bone, and Tory didn't even care.

Time for bed and he went in on his own.

You asked for the pictures, hope there aren't too many.

Barb, Congrats on having Jack home with your family. What an Easter gift you got this year.  He is sooo cute. I loved all the pictures, my favorite is the Walk Home..how sweet is that?  I am glad Tory likes him and even shared her b-day bone with him.
Happy Easter,

I was very lucky last night and we slept all night. Actually it was Tory that had me up early (5:30) his tummy was grumbling/gurgling. He wasn't feeling well After letting Tory out and getting him settled I let Jack out, fed him, played a bit and let him out again. 1 minor accident today, but my fault of course, I was looking right at him and he at me, until he walked away from the spot I had no idea what he had done. He is now in his crate taking a nap. He put himself in there

Tory did growl and nip at Jack this morning. Over a toy that Tory wanted of course. I bought both of them new toys, to try to avoid the jealousy thing. Tory just wants them all. This is the part that is going to be the most work. Potty training, sit, stay, come, whoa, fetch all those are going to be a piece of cake. Tory is my major concern. He has really been very spoiled, my husband and I accept full responsiblity for allowing this behavor.  We've been showing Tory plenty of attention.

Any advise?

Barb
