I sit in front of a tube all day long. You have to do something to engage your brain. Its not like I am doing rocket science at work, Oh wait a minute it is.

I am jealous of the breeders, handlers, trainers who can make dogs their livelihood.

I am retired, sort-of, LOL, I am with the Volunteer Fire Dept, do Search & Rescue with the Sheriffs office, & I'm the secretary for it,  I am in the Garden Club, President of the Library Board???did I say retired???. The hubby is in Federal Law Enforcement so he has mandatory retirement in 8 months, 18 days, 19 hours, but who is counting LOL. He will be 57, so when I am not at some sort of meeting,, training , fire, or search its just me & the puppy's in front of the fire tehe

I work nights and H works days.  That way there's always someone home with the pups.

I have class on Mon. & Wed. and work weekend nights as a server. That gives me a little extra time on the computer. :)

I work a 50 hour week in marketing and am studying part time for an MBA. That committment represents two evenings a week and then study for about 10 hours a week - often away from home. Which is why I also got a doggie walker who takes my boy out during the day with his GSP, so he gets lots of stimulation. My fiance' and I take turns in taking him out. It's a big committment but we love him dearly and it gets us out for exercise too.

By the way I am in Australia which is why I am on at odd hours in the US. By the sounds of it though everyone here is just a really committed GSP owner!!! Claudia from OZ

I'm a video editor so I have 2 computers I sit at: one I edit video on, the other I read scripts, get e-mail & read & talk to my friends on the gsp forum!
I love the sound of the word retired, it's just not happening any time soon :(

Retired 8 years ago (after working many many years as a Project Manager in the Semi Conductor Industry and it is the best thing I have ever done :) My husband decided I was having to much fun so he retired a year later. It was weird at first having him home, I was use to being here with just the dogs I can't tell you how many times I locked him out of the house!
