I wish I could spend all day with Bo. I check this site out frequently to remind me that there is humanity beyond work and to re-affirm that our animals are a lot smarter than some of the people I work with.

I'm a freelance copywriter and presently in-between projects. Seems like it's either crazy-busy 'round the clock or completely dead, not much in-between. So, what to do with my time... I only wish you all would get busy posting--I'm bored! (Since Otto's been gone (training in Texas), I've been coming here for my shorthair fix. Unfortunately, I have nothing to report. Seven weeks down, three to go...) Freelancing is wonderful, if you have a spouse with a steady income. Between the dog and the kids, it allows me to be really flexible with my time. |

I work for my husband from home, so I have the site up while I work away. Today I am spending more time just goofing around as I worked a charity casino until 3:30 am last night and then had to be up with the kids and dog at 8:15 this morning. Kind a slow getting my brain in gear. Newton |

| I'm laid off right now due to the slow time of year. I do graphic design and some website design. This past week I have been nursing a bad sinus infection/cold, so I'm happy to be home to get some rest. If you call being online rest...lol |

I am independently wealthy. When I am not on my yacht, I am out training my dogs, or checking in here Really, my job requires that I spend alot of time on the puter, so as a break, I stop over here from time to time to check up on you guys. |

| I am a Registered Nurse who works the PM shift 3-11 4 days a week so can be with my Rocky boy every morning and early afternoon till his nap time!! My Husband Tom works days and is home by 5:30pm so Mr Rocky only has a few GSP hours to spend alone and sleep> The nice part of my work schedule, I am off 2 days before the weekend I work and 2 days off to recover from the weekend that I work. I worked this weekend so I am off today and tomorrow!! The sun is shining and melting some of the ice off our driveway and sidewalks. Rocky and I did do a slow cautious 2 mile walk on the main roads on the side. Side walks are too many ice spots to walk |

That's the great thing about working from home--you can squeeze in some housework here or there, which frees up your evenings and weekends, as well as spend extra time with the dog or the kiddos. Think of all that time spent commuting that's a complete waste! (For me, it used to be 2 - 2 1/2 hrs a day!) I used to run myself into the ground trying to get everything done--between work, the kids and the house. No way there was time for a puppy. Now, I can wake up, pad around in my pajamas while I get the kids ready for school, send them off to the bus and take Otto for a run, then get ready for the day and work with Otto curled up at my feet. Then in the afternoon when I need a break, I can take him out while the kids and neighbors are all gone and let him tear it up again. By then, he's tired and happy. It's a great situation for the kids, the dog--and me! |

| After more years than I care to count at the old 9-5 (more like 7-6 with the commute and overtime) I am most happy to report that I am gainfully RETIRED. I repeat---RETIRED. Geez I love the sound of that word. |
