Welcome to
shorthairs.net
I tried posting some random photos the other day, but it wouldn't go through. Just tidbits of our hikes over the last week or so.
We found where the ducks are seeking refuge (some of the only open water around this time of year). She's spotted them in the picture above. Went in shortly after.
Bella and her "boyfriend" left each other scavenger hunt messages on the trails since they couldn't hike together that weekend.
Play session!
She loves to saw through rope toys. Thought we had a contender here. This was what I have referred to as the "wrecking ball". Sad (or not so sad) to report...the wreckign ball is no more
"Oh, Hi! I'm unmaking summin for you, momma"
Just a few phone snaps:
She loves deep snow
Bella and her boyfriend
GSP gang - in too much of constant motion to actually capture a decent photo of them all lol Being absurdly dramatic in response to having a tiny little cut on her foot wrapped, solely so she would leave it alone for a bit. What a ham.
AWWwww!! SO many GSP's!! They are all so adorable! Love the pics with the rope.......yep, our two tear up the ropes as well. Amazingly, (and luckily), they don't swallow any of it. They take pride simply in shredding it.
I laughed so hard at the staring contest!
The hiking pics are wonderful!! Wish I could let my two loose like that. I don't trust fully trust them yet.
HaHa! Yes, I know, my two are the same. Maybrie is actually a better destoyer. She chews on things all the time, especially now since I've had her couped up while her leg is healing. I have purchased 4 wrecking balls. They love to shred the string and then pick up the ball with their mouths and carry them around. Not sure how they do that! Maybrie has chewed up so many pieces of furniture, and I find the wood chips all over the floor. I cannot wait until I can let her run free! The walking 3 times a day, and other therapy modalities just aren't cutting it..
You are so lucky to live in such a beautiful place, with so many other GSP friends! It's awesome. I bet you are ready for summer! I am too. Houston is too cold for me right now! It's just way too windy. It's beautiful weather, light jacket, sunshine, but the wind is crazy! It is spring though....windy is just part of it. Looking forward to the summer! Love the summer evenings.
Hope Summer comes around soon and the bad winter storms quit passing through.
