Hi, after having GSPs for 15 yrs, I just found this site yesterday & thought I would post some pics and our story.

We live on the outskirts of Sydney NSW beside a National Park. We run 1-2 1/2 marathons a year swim & hunt ferals on a friends farm. We have had two GSPs now, but recently made the heart wrenching decision to put one down after 14.5 yrs. This left 13yr old Banjo very lonely. After about 3 months wait we bought another puppy.

She is showing some retrieving potential.

Oh my goodness!!!  That may be the cutest pic I have ever seen.  The two of them together is just precious. I'm sure they will be fast friends!

Welcome! They look good together :) Very nice photos. It's never easy to lose a furchild. I like to think that they play a hand in helping us pick the next one, one of which they'd approve!
The puppy's "running" face is priceless.

Welcome! Your GSPs are beautiful and I love that pounce I can sense from the new pup. You'll find this forum is a wonderful network of people whom love GSPs.

Welcome to the site. I absolutely love that first picture. I am also sorry you lost your oldest. Looks like you have your hands full with that little one.

This is so precious!! I love the pictures. What's better for a puppy than to have an old soul to teach it a thing or too! I'm so sorry to hear about the other friend you had to put down. Old and new memories to have now.

13 yr old Banjo is a beautiful dog! So is the little one :) We have two and I can't see either one wanting to be a solo dog. Had our male first, who is 4 and we rescued the 8 yr old female. They have their moments but are pretty much together 24/7

Great pictures, sorry about your loss and glad you still have 2 happy dogs.

Thankyou for the replies.

Every day is a new one with puppy.

We recently purchased a smart TV with voice control. When pup is in her crate & not happy about it, howling, crying, moaning, she controls the TV. It mutes & changes channel, even 1/2 way through the show your watching!!
