I don't know if dogs have a sense of humor or not but some are more playful than others. Dogs also have a "smile" that they present to people but not to other dogs. If they do have a sense of humor it is certainly very different than the mental states that we consider as a sense of humor. They do, however, have a sense of playfulness that serves us, and the dogs, quite nicely. Cj
