I bet you do not use snow wheels with ice studs over there? Take care!

Hope you manage to get back home and don’t get iced out.  How are you now?

Re: [working-gundog] Ice

I saw on our TV Ron (England) about the dreadful ice storm in your part of USA.  Hope it hasn’t been too bad for you.

The middle of the country has gotten about 2.25 cm of solid ice and the storm is drifting east.
Up here in the northeastern part we're used to such stuff, but some areas of the mid-west have
been hit very hard by it.

Send some snow and ice for us instead. I need to shoot a really fat buck to salt and smoke for x-mas but in this very soggy, wet, foggy and truly British weather they are indeed difficult to talk to without driving dogs and we cant hunt that way in our area.

It wasn't to bad here, but my three sisters and two nephews and my Mom are still in the dark and cold.My one sister lives on a lake and their pier is on the water but between their house and the pier are two trees that block their view. They cant remove them because the land between their yard and the lake is federal land. The ice, I heard somewhere up to two and one half inches broke down all of the trees in their yard but didn' do anything to the two trees. Thats just like my luck.
