Re: [working-gundog] Happy New Year
Thanks Marg and a Happy New Year to all. Envied Ches in Cape Town with temp of 28 deg C, it is –3 deg C here but I always feel much warmer when it is that cold, when 6 deg C I feel frozen!
My NY resolution is the same as Ches, to re-commence serious training with my Labrador, but I actually started today! I have been letting him run with my GSP’s which is a mistake probably, he has put up pheasants and gently pushed out one Woodcock from the undergrowth and then another and no chasing. So now back to more retriever behaviour!
I look forward to your contributions Ches.
Sonia
My first NY resolution is to commence serious training with my imported pup - starting tomorrow. My second is to correspond with you guys and stop lurking.
Best wishes for 2009,
Ches
