I already have two stents that they have put in earlier. There is a third obstruction on the backside of the heart and they never managed to reach it. Hence they will make a by-pass operation, not only for the backside obstruction but they will also by-pass the two stents that already are there. It will be a bit extensive pipe-work but I hope they have good plumbers at the hospital. Anyway a successful operation will give great results.
At the middle or end of June I started to do some body-building training every day, in order to be fit for the operation, or actually with the hope that the recovery time will be as short as possible. I also walk as much as possible with the dogs. It is very hard for me to lay in a bed with nothing to do besides of watching a telly or reading a book. For some strange reason they do not give you access to a computer connected to the net. After a couple of days I will start to climb the walls and give nasty comments to nurses and doctors. It is a good stragegy, they do not keep me in the hospital for longer than absolutely needed
))
Anyway I feel very strong now. I can recommend the body building training for everyone. It can be precisely adapted to the individual, weak or strong, and done properly it can not do any harm to you. Combine it with some condition training and after a while you will feel great! I am not speaking about the training for becoming Mr. or Miss Universe, that is something different, best suited for self-tormentors.

When the landowner found out that Maud will not handle the dogs only but also the guns, she was invited! Safety is always number 1 at such shoots!
Now I have to devise for the buck in the afternoon, 1300 hours. This is that last change to kill it if I want to give the meat some time to tenderise before freezing. I go to the hospital on Tuesday morning and have to freeze it Monday night. If I shoot the buck later than today I have to grind it to minced meat, the whole of it. Not a very good practice

Well, you never know. "You should not sell the hide before the bear has been killed", as we use to say
