| When I first saw him facing the side of the pen it broke my heart, then when I got to the next picture and saw his sadness I started to email folks to try and get him out.
I'm in to help with finances. I know someone that has worked with Pilots for Paws and will contact her to see is she has any suggestions for help.
Although I live in San Antonio, TX, Clovis is my home town and I'm trying to get in touch with folks there that might be able to help, if nothing else buy a little time to execute his rescue.

In retrospect "facilitate" probably would have been a better choice, but in this case it means to carry out his rescue, not the other.

From what I read, he isn't available for adoption until Wed. Rescue
can only pull if they are on the PTS list. We have someone to pull
him either tomorrow or Wed.am. The Shelter is not open today, Patte
has called and left a message with Hope Defined Animal Rescue in
Clovis and is waiting for a response.
Janice Price, who's a Vet near Abilene, also has contacted me. We will
see what we can do to get things moving in the morning.

Has anyone even thought to contact the Chandlers, considering that
they live in Las Cruces, and his coloring and good looks make it
appear that he might be from their breeding stock?

I'm also in Las Cruces, Pam. Terry and Janet are on gsp-l. We are waiting on gsp rescue southwest to respond.

Clovis, NM is only 10 miles from the TX Panhandle border and there are GSP breeders in TX and NM that are closer to Clovis than Las Cruces.

| Think this could be a start for GSP FREEDOM FUND for as many others as we can. Freedom and others just like him die without us. This picture should become a poster GSP boy for us to urge support. How can we make it happen?

Thank you. Having owned two advertising company's I know exactly what a picture is worth. 1000 WORDS.  . Saying to go donate time - money, etc., is THE mistake made by all rescue groups in spite of the good intensions. Made by AKC re: dog legislation. What do the breeders, club representatives, pet owners cry over? What brings in the support? Pictures like our friend Freedom. TV ads with great, sad music AND individual dogs. So, how can we make this better. Start your engines GSP lovers. Make a Freedom bonfire.
