There's been plenty of talk about shipping dogs/airlines and I never paid attention because I never shipped any dogs as cargo. I now have a report on my very first two shipments. Last Sunday we shipped an 8 week, 2 day old GSP from Buffalo to California on American Airlines Cargo for $202. The puppy was in the arms of his new owners after almost 9 hours of being confined in his crate, with a change of planes in Chicago. The only thing he did was pee a little in his crate! This morning we shipped a 9 week old from Buffalo - Chicago - Austin, TX with the same great results! A very happy puppy arrived who did not potty at all in his crate after 7 hours. Just thought I'd pass along my two positive experiences with American and, after shopping around, they are about $100 cheaper than the others. I was able to track them all the way until the owners picked them up too. Tracy N.

Because John worked for American for 36 years we almost always fly AA with our dogs. Unfortunately, we now have to pay when we fly with the dogs. Drives John NUTS. LOL I have heard of some folks having problems at one time or another with American, but that goes for every Airline. In general, AA is VERY good. In a message dated 4/7/2012 12:13:32 P.M.
