I now have a better understanding. First, all GSPCA funds are kept in a general account, but there is a separate accounting for each of the different areas such as National Specialty, National Field Trial, Health and Welfare and Rescue. So at any given time, the amount of money for each is accounted for. Secondly, The deposit for the CERF clinic was a non-refundable gaurantee of 50 dogs ! You do the math ! Based on past participation, it would be insane to gaurantee 50 dogs ! Third, any time anyone working on the clubs behalf, front money (for lack of a better term) is always reimbursed right down to postage and phone calls. I'd also like to say that I appreciate the boards' transparency in this matter. They were forthcoming with information in response to the questions raised by my post. Ann King-Wallace
