You can purchase it from a print shop as well in flat sheets 1000 sheets per box 24 X 36 that’s what I use in my whelping box. Ask for a case of unprinted news print, it will cost but having flat sheets is so much easier to work with then tearing butt rolls and it doesn’t always lay flat.

I used the unprinted newsprint even in the whelping box. If you have a local newspaper, they will sometimes let you have the end of the roles for free. That’s how I got mine. Worth a try.

I use unprinted newsprint for the "shredders". They love it. They rip and tear and arrange it to their liking. And as long as the not-so-bad shredders have that on top of a crate pad, they leave the crate pad alone. Nobody has really ever eaten the unprinted newsprint.

I have 2 dogs that rip up every piece of begging I've ever used. I've spent a fortune on rugs and crate pads. They never consume the shredded bedding, but its very expensive to constantly replace it. I have tried spraying Bitter Apple and Arid Xtra Dry on the bedding to no avail. Does anyone have any other ideas I can try ?
