Dear GSP & Other Breeders:
We received the e-mail I've posted below.  Their web site seems informative and helpful and I thought this might be useful for a lot of dog owners (new and experienced) - even if you don't purchase their advanced program.  I checked several pages and didn't find anything out of the ordinary, so registered to receive their endorsement logo to post on our site.

After receiving their link for our web page I QUICKLY un-subscribed ... because their confirmation showed their sponsor and endorsement groups ... among them HSUS and ASPCA.  Definitely check out the last paragraph that accompanied the confirmation and link.

This is just a heads up for those of you who might have been contacted too and were not aware of their HSUS relationship.

Hi Patti -- You know -- it's really funny -- anyone can give out an "award" this might fool some of the public, but why would any serious person be impressed by an "award" given by Train Pet Dog???????? This is like faking your high school diploma so you can have something on the wall. It is really sick -- what serious person would even want this? Thanks for letting us all know what's behind it.

I'm a  little surprised though by your aversion to APCA sponsorship -- I have always thought they were a good organization.  Any thoughts?

Hi Sandra:  That's right ... anyone can give out an award.  I guess I was "sucked in" for a moment!

I don't have an aversion to the ASPCA they do good work where they have facilities.  The ASPCA does not have any activities or shelters here on the West Coast (that I am aware of) - so they are neither visible or active.  Their commercials however are frequent here asking for donations - which of course are not helping our west coast and local shelters.  There is only so much donation money to go around.
