This is a brag on my, just turned 2.5 year old, boy BOONDOCK.  Looking back two years ago when his first title, Junior Hunter, was finished at the age of 6 months old, in four straight runs, it was just the start of some remarkable accomplishments.  He debuted in the show ring at 7 months old and earned all his CH points from the BBE classes finishing quickly by 14 months of age.  At a year old, he had great placements in ALL 8 classes he was entered in at the 2010 GSPCA Nationals week.  After returning from Florida, we jumped right into NAVHDA and earned a Natural Ability Prize I.

With the help of Mikael Matteson, he's had some very nice placements in the Breed classes and is a multi-BOB winner, with very limited showing, over some top dogs and large entries.  He earned all his Grand CH points over 3 weekends (one win shy of doing it in 2).

With no formal training, he and I then ran through Rally Novice where he finished that title against 15 qualifiers in Novice B with a perfect score of 100, and fastest run, for a First Place finish.

This past Saturday...
Trained and handled to perfection by Judy Zeigler, BOONDOCK earned his Senior Hunter title!!  We then even gave him a shot at Masters yesterday.  He brought home some beautiful score cards reflecting remarkable runs.

Last month, he and I had a very nice BOB win at the Wine Country Circuit in NY and 4 days later hit the Grouse/Woodcock woods of Northern NY where he ran hard for 3 days straight and was the only dog, out of 3, who produced birds.

To me, he is truly THE VERSATILE GSP!!  I'm trying to figure out what to do next...  :)
Overall, I'm thrilled about the entire litter he came from.  Unfortunately, I can't always place my dogs in performance/competition homes but I'm proud to say this litter did earn us our first NAVHDA Natural Ability Breeders Award and have hunt test titles, are show-pointed and are just a great looking bunch.  Most went to hunting homes where they are doing a fantastic job and I'm happy for that.

Thank you everyone who made "BOONDOCK" happen!

Congratulations Tracy. I knew when I saw him early on there would be great things to come for this boy ! The best part is that you bred him yourself.
