Hi Sharon!
Yes, I whole heartily agree with you that the quality of livers has improved one thousand fold from times past!
Anyone who has been around the block in this sport has had their share of conversations with judges and their decisions, good & bad, in agreement or not.
You & Steve have had lovely liver dogs and I would expect you to be very, very proud of that and never think for one millisecond that I personally do not appreciate that!
I offered my comments as acknowledgment that this type of mindset still exists, albeit the minority, from individuals that are expected to know our breed prior to steeping in the ring to judge them.
Color has never been an issue with me to include in my program, as I do own a lovely solid liver bitch that lacks one major to finish!
