This just came from MBF. I thought it was interesting.

Due to the current negative dog legislation in the area, the AKC has
granted permission to omit exhibitor addresses from the show catalogs
for the Boca Raton Dog Club shows to be held Saturday and Sunday,
February 23 & 24 in Lake Worth, FL. The club is exercising this
option in order to insure the confidentiality of exhibitor contact
information

They are trying to get  new legislation in Palm Beach (where these shows are being held) similar to 1634 in California.

Yep.  Also in AZ and Dallas.  If you still have your residence address on your website, it would be a good idea to change that out for a PO Box.   Just a suggestion, but worth being safe now than sorry later.

As you all might have noticed I have had a PO Box for many years. This was done for our safety as both Tim (my husband) and I do biomedical research. I have used animals (mice) in my research for many years. Because of this I have been threatened by the AR people by phone and mail. This escalated when I became very active fighting anti-dog legislation. I have always suggested that breeders have a PO Box, we really don't need any one knowing where we live until they have been invited. I sent Missy a article yesterday that she will post on the GSPCA website under Legi. It is about ALF (animal liberation front, an FBI listed terrorist AR group) basicly threatening the Major of Los Angeles to support the MSN (Mandatory Spay Neuter)proposal in LA city.

We have been fighting this for years in CA now each and everyone of us will have to fight for our rights to own, breed, hunt our dogs. This is why I have invited Patti Strand as our speaker for the Health and Wefare seminar. Please sign up and get on board. Leita
