OK, the LIGSPC made it happen in two weeks. Given the obstacles it was still a miraculous team effort to get er done. Sorry for any offense, none was intended.

I would like to clear something up.  Cathy DID NOT get the Nassau coliseum NOR did she NAIL DOWN THE GARDEN SPECIALTIES in less than a month. Due to a problem with the original site, the members of the Garden Speciality Association had to look for a new location.  Once the new site was found, the clubs that were having their Specialties had to decided if they would be able to move to that location.  Due to the new location some of the clubs were unable to do the show.  The LIGSPC  Board Members made the decision to try and hold a Regional Specialty with the approval of the GSPCA.  Once the GSPCA approved the Regional, the Members of the LIGSPC went to work to put on the show.  Yes we only had two weeks to do this.  With alot of phone calls, disagreements and HARD WORK we managed to get everything done.  It was NOT ONE PERSON  or the "CREW" of one person who did this show.   It was the  Members of the LIGSPC who pulled together to get the job done.  Our club works very hard to put together all our events.

I think Cathys frustration is apparent because she has demonstrated how truly effective she is. Getting the Nassau coliseum and nailing down the garden specialties in less than a month would not have happened with committees and facilitators. It was an effective leader pulling off a miracle. I appreciate anyone who can get things done like that. The GSPCA is fortunate to have such talent and commitment. If I wanted to get something difficult accomplished I would want Cathy on it. So you go girl.

Cathy,  I have to agree with you on the use of the word "terrorist".  One of my dearest friends husbands worked ground zero and shared the most horrible and yet heartwarming stories.  I hate to be sensitive about it, but terrorism is beyond the scope of this list.  Let's bring it back down, besides there are other names to call you that are more entertaining (just joking on the last part).

Right, people are trampling over our rights as GSPCA members and I am the terrorist.  What have I said so far that is untrue Andi?  No, my goal is to raise awareness before the meetings coming up so that people have time to inves
