I received the same call. I thought to myself that the best advertisement for a pro handler is how they show someone else’s dog in the ring.

Hi, Just a weird question--I just got a call from someone asking if I used a prof. handler to show my GSPs. It turns out she is a handler from PA who was soliciting business, and claimed to prefer the GSPs from the New England area. Is this ethical? I didn't bother to get her name, just told her I was currently showing in BBE, and beyond that, I already have a handler I use when necessary. Pam Parshall Roggenfeld Shorthairs
I got a message from her last night saying she was interested in my GSPs. Since I have a beautiful 11-month male available, I called her back only to find out that she's looking to handle, not buy. She's sure making the rounds! Supposedly she'll be showing a Dal and a Smooth Fox Terrier at the shows in MD next month if anyone wants to check her out.
