The third GSP to ever repeat the Master Agility Champion (MACH) title (earning MACH-2 designation) just completed those requirements (Lifetime accumulation of minimally both 1,500 MACH championship points and 40 Double Qualifiers out of Excellent B/Excellent B JWW classes).  Congratulations to Jackie Kirkman and Flash (MACH2 K’brooke Southpines Flash UD JH NAP NJP).

There have now been 9 GSPs to ever earn AKC MACH titles, and now three of those have subsequently earned MACH-2 titles.  Flash is the second MACH-level GSP to also hold a formal obedience title, and the only MACH GSP to hold the UD title.  Of the 9 GSPs holding the AKC’s Agility Champion title, 6 have earned hunt titles – despite the focus and extensive time commitment to agility training and trialing that it takes to achieve the championship level title – these folks also worked enough in the field for hunt titles.  Of the 9 MACH GSPs, two have also earned show championships.  So my hats off to these highest achievers in the AKC flavor of the Agility Specialty – and especially to Jackie and Flash on this month’s achievement!

Way to go, Jackie and Flash. MACH-2 is such an awsome accomplishment! And thank you, Dave, for helping us non-agility people to appreciate what a feat this is.
