Barbara Bond sent this request for her friend Dorcas, and asked
that it be crossposted...........hopefully, a surrogate mother can be found
to help Dorcas. The litter is a Cavalier litter, but any nursing mother
would do................please pass this to anyone you know who might

I just had a very sad call from Dorcas Mycock , Dellerose reg'd, she has
just lost the mother of her 3 day old litter. She had five puppies but has
lost the smallest today. I thought maybe someone might know of a nursing
mother who could adopt the litter for a while. Dorcas lives in Delaware
outside of London Ontario. I have a mother with a one week old puppy but I
am 1000 miles from her otherwise I would help in a heartbeat.
The mother died from a blood clot after a C-section. It seems I am hearing
this too frequently lately.
Dorcas is beside herself with grief at the moment.
