Welcome to
shorthairs.net
Just did about 4 hrs on here researching ingredients, because I had heart attack/stroke and trying to find out the cause of my poor eating habits.
Am reading too many heath magazines and websites like the Cleveland Heart Clinic and the doctor here at the Phoenician Hotel with his team doing 3 heart surgeries in 44 min, vs mine that took 5 hours. not at all bad when I saw Dr Ted Dedick’s team do 3 in 44.
So food is the culprit and the vets are seeing more & more cancer in the dogs, dogs dying at 4 years old with cancer, etc. so checking out dog food, NO SOY, CORN, WHEAT absolutely. My Lassie’s mom in England lived within weeks of her 17th birthday, as did other 2 in the same litter.
Got a bag of Barking at Moon, they liked it. Bag of Timberwolf they loved it.
So an experiment, went back to the website many times, going to try another bag.
I had a farm boy for a husband, always feed the best, and I followed that that for the dogs, mine get to about 13, I never gave much thought to ingredients. Like a reformed drunk, or my heart attack what did I do wrong.
Thanks for the sharing.
