I don't brag much, too busy asking for money;-), but I will do this for my co-owner, Linda Caputo, and co-breeder, Diane Stendahl. At the Saw Mill River Kennel Club in White Plains, New York, the show that every handler loves to hate, Homesteader's Reaching For the Stars, owned by Linda and myself went best of winners and BOS over the males being shown in breed. This is the pup that took a major at the Long Island GSPC specialty during the Garden Specialties his first day in the ring from the 6-9 puppy class. He is now in 9-12. Luke was "Big Al" in Diane's and my Liza X Ramsey litter, for those who came and saw or saw them on line. He is neither big nor Al, but that is what we called him then. He is something of a therapy pup for Linda's elderly Mom, and she calls him "her puppy." This is the second Homesteader dog for Linda, as her Quincy passed from us this past year at nearly 15. I am glad that this time we can show, but the most important part is that this dog has the home from heaven. I hope you all get to meet Linda soon in her new activity. She is even learning to show him herself, but she only does that in sweeps. Otherwise it will be Diane or myself on this handsome dude. Sister Gracie went RWB with breeder Diane at the end of the lead. Thanks for reading, Nancy Campbell, and those Homesteader Crazy Dogs.
