I received the following message today. I have no experience with this disease. The vet is quoting him $200 a month for treatment. He says he cannot realistically afford even half that as a rookie police officer with two babies to support. He bought the dog in CA before he was deployed to Iraq to keep his wife company while he was gone. He got a cheaper price if he didn't ask for papers. His is in NY now anyway. Can anyone think of a way to help? I'd hate to see this dog have to die this way. Time is running out. If he doesn't put the dog down by tomorrow, the bill will go up $500 at the vet, on top of what they already ran up. I have his number if anyone can help. A friend of mine's dog was treated for Addisons. It cost $85.00 /month for the medication. The dog lived for a few years. Leslie Ruddock
