Hi All
This is the most common type of cataract in GSP's. It doesn't impair vision much as it tends to be small unlike the juvenile or old age ones that get large. They don't know the genetics but the dogs should not be bred and the close relatives should have a CERF exam. Leita.

Does anyone have any experience with or information on posterior subcapsular cataracts in GSP's?  A novice has come up with this in a dog she had cerfed and isn't having any luck getting answers on what it will mean to her.  Any info is appreciated.  Private replies are fine if you prefer.
