Here we are about to begin the National. Again. I am reminding those of you who are coming to bring items, perhaps dog related, especially GSP related for the Silent Auction that raises the money we spend every year on transport and veterinary care for Needy and Unwanted GSPs around the country. Please be generous, even in the light of the gas prices and the economy. I know you have it in your hearts to pull out the stops for those in need in the breed you love. Make baskets, get stuff from shows and shops, and bring or send them to the national specialty show site (listed below). I will help set up and then disappear until I do the Futurity, but will be at the table the other days. I am even shipping the stuff I am bringing. Thanks to Melissa Campbell from Ohio for the wonderful queen sized GSP quilt and for taking my place at the table the first two days, to those who have already contacted me about bringing art work and baskets. Just stick something precious in your bag, and have a heart for the dogs we rehab. There is a new T shirt this year too. Its motto: GSP Rescue; "We've Got Your Back" with a picture of a pointing dog and another backing it. Thanks to Judy Zeigler for the picture we used. Here you go, see you soon.
