Welcome to
shorthairs.net
She's going to be neat - I predict she'll be pretty hot ticked. We'll see over the next few weeks.
We will, at least three and maybe more will be going to people we know well. It is very important to us to know how they turn out.
Just got back from tails and dews. The vet couldn't get over how big, strong and LOUD they are. He looked in the bin and said "Jesus, no wonder she had trouble". He kept asking if we could have been wrong and they were overdue, but the very first breeding would have made them 62 days gestation so they were right on time.
Jean
Jean - I know you are busy, but when are you going to post some more puppy pictures? I would love to see these guys now that they are almost 2 weeks old.
We'll be posting more soon, once their eyes are open. They are just starting to open on the inside corner and they are up trying to walk - I love the drunken stage. So soon I promise!
Greetings all - it looks like we will have one female to place and either one or two males. I have to say I am VERY impressed with this litter. Now that their eyes are open, they are BUSY. Very coordinated and fast for being only 2 weeks old. They are smart and observant and very unafraid - out toddling around on the floor of the house like little drunks. Put six pups down and they go off in six directions! We'll get new pics up soon.
Updated photos on the site, check them out! They are starting to look and act like little dogs. Very smart babies.

Check out the puppy page for new photos of 4 week old babies learning how to swim, very cute! I am amazed at how brave these babies are for being so young. Not one was fearful of the water.
LITTLE CUTIES
!
Hi Ryan - Riley has been chosen, but surprisingly I still have Brewster and Durham available. Both very nice dogs. I will get updated photos and such on the website this weekend. Brewster especially needs to go to a field trial home, he is truly going to be stellar. Durham will do well in any venue. He is the sweetest love of the bunch.
What makes you say that?
Our next litter will be probably 18-24 mos away once Teejay gets certified and assuming she proves herself - she's showing all the right signs.
