I have Studded my Dalin(Dalins Dealing Dalin VD Himmel SH) to Ruby(Rugers Red Lable Ruby MH). Ruby has been confirmed as pregnant and the pups are due on approximately November the 23rd. We had planned this litter for this past Spring, but missed her timing and used the opportunity to finish her Master Hunter before breeding her. This is a very well thought out and planned litter that has been in the works for almost 2 years.
I Trained and put Ruby through her Master Hunter Title this past Spring. Average Scores for Ruby in Testing were 9's across the board in all categories, in all Test and finished with 5 Qualifier's out of 6 attempts. She was used as a Bye dog in almost every event, the Judges enjoyed her that much and had faith in her honesty. Both dogs are hunted extensively on Grouse and Woodcock. Dalin has already proven through a prior Breeding, to contribute a boat load of natural talent and style to his pups, stamping them with his Signature. The pups from his last Breeding are almost 2 years old and are being hunted successfully on Wild Quail, Pheasant, Chukar, Grouse and Woodcock. Ruby is also used as a Guide Dog on an Upscale Preserve, where excellent dog work and disposition is a necessity for demanding Clientele.

We are expecting these to be some VERY NICE pups.
Thanx kindly all and thanx for looking! I'd have posted sooner, but with Thanksgiving and such...... Ruby gave birth to 10 strong and healthy pups via C-section on Saturday, November the 20th. After having had her temperature drop on Friday at 9 a.m., the waiting began and as her temp kept dropping further without any signs of hard labor, but definite signs of extreme discomfort, I called our Vet Friday night and started to put plans in place to take her in Sat. if she hadn't delivered any pups by 9 a.m. Saturday morn. We took her in Saturday when she still had shown no signs of contractions, even though I could feel she had a pup down low in her birth canal and they tried to induce with Oxytocin. It was quickly determined she was not contracting enough and she was prepped for surgery. She was back home Saturday eve with pups, a tired, sore and worn out pup. It was a very long 36 hours for both of us, as I cleaned and did whatever necessary to stay awake and keep an ever watchful eye on her. All of the pups were little chunkers, weighing in between 16-18 oz., with just one male being a bit smaller at 13 oz. Though Ruby seems to be producing plenty of milk, we've been supplementing as well, to help her out while she heals. Tuesday eve was an eve of docking tails and removing dew claws, with the pups giving nary a whimper. Without further ado: Raine and Storm, bottles in hand, with a pile of sleeping and contently "full" pups:

A pile of joy:
As they grow, individual pix and info on each pup will be available at Almost Heaven Kennels Puppy Album
Thought I'd share a short video of the pups having a Christmas Eve romp in the "Big House" pen, getting it all out of their systems before Santa's arrival LOL! Just 5 weeks old today, eating Purina One "Healthy Puppy Formula" kibble and preparing for their big Christmas present on Sunday when we have their first Quail intro's. 2 males are not spoken for tentatively, for anyone that may be interested.
