| Well Halo has now been officially bred to Buddy. We will get an ultrasound in about 28 days to confirm the pregnancy. She played hard to get, but Buddy was the perfect patient gentleman and didn't give up on her. She finally succumbed to his charms. They should have some awesome puppies. |

Bev, who owns the sire of Halo? I am familiar with the Howard's Chime but have never heard of the sire that is the dual.

The sire to this litter is not a dual he has his Master Hunter. His registered name is CH Southwind's American Pie MH NRD and he is owned by Pat Dunn. Pat also owns the dam, CH Southwind’s Serenade CD JH, of Halo's mother, CH /AFC Madrone Southwind Chime MH MX MXJ NRD VCX. Halo's sire is DC Lieblinghs Odyssey Air Jordan JH and he is owned by Ruth Ann Freer & Judy Parietti.

Sorry Bev, I read where you said, "Halo also comes from very strong hunting lines and has many Dual Champions (including her sire) in her pedigree."
I am thinking I misunderstood that above statement.
I have judged and run with Mark's dogs and really always thought Czar and some others were very nice dogs particularly considering their predominently show background. |

| The DCs in Halo's pedigree are on her sire's side, DC Odyssey's Air Jordan. Halo's mother, Ring, is also very close to her Dual, but not quite there yet. Czar was Halo's grandfather on her maternal side. |

| Gail - She is sooooo big. I will find out tomorrow how many with the xray. They are due next Tuesday. The little squigglers are moving and there is one on her upper left side that is a real active little fellow. Mom is feeling good though and although she stays inside most of the day while it is hot, we go out at night after it cools down and she prowls in the backyard and if I would let her she would be chasing the critters with Ringo. |
