Welcome to

That is precisely why I put out this ad in the first place. From my standpoint titles aren't everything, but since I can't go see in person every person that says they have a good dog, I have to rely on titles as a shortcut.

I can understand that. I just wanted to comment about the titles not meaning that they are always better than others. I am getting a puppy from Shady Meadows Gundogs this spring. He has an excellent field champ stud and many impressive females as well. He has some females out of General Norman who was a VERY good dog. He hunts his regularly and does guided bird hunts. Maybe you should check with him? He is in Missouri. Good Luck

I have to agree with Snips on this one.
Agree with post above. I like to see some sort of a focus on breeding plans, goals and objectives. I also don't really like the recent trends towards buying already Titled dogs, that the "breeder" really knows little to nothing about the dogs personally and then breeding it to whatever handy dam there is in the kennel and saying "Look! Champion Parent(s)!" I truely prefer and have more respect for those that have either earned the Titles themselves, or had Titles put on dogs they've owned all along, by Pro's that can do what they may not have the time, money or ability to do. At least then, they know their dogs and both the good and bad traits that the dog may produce.
In looking at the web site, I see no mention of health testing (they guarantee against hip dysplasia only until 2.5 years of age). DO NOT post ads for kennels, studs or puppies here if they don't meet the requirements for posting. If you don't know, don't post it.
I also want to point out that this section is specifically for posting litters/studs/requests for same. General discussions about breeding decisions should be moved to the Breeding or General section.
