Hi All My names Alyson, i'm 20 and i've joined this forum to find out more about GSP's. I've fallen in love with the breed but would like to hear from GSP owners as i hope to get a puppy sometime this year(hopefully i'll get some advice on good breeders too). I live in Fife with my outdoor loving OH and our 19 month old labxrottieXrhodesian ridgeback Tummel. Tummel does some work as a gundog(mainly tracking and flushing) and our GSP would also get to do some work as my OH does a lot of shooting and fishing. I'd love to hear about this breed from owners as i feel their accounts are more accurate. I feel a GSP would fit into our little family very nicely as they seem to have similar personalities to Tummel(friendly, loyal, energetic, intelligent) and i love the way they look. Here's a few photos of Tummel as well...i know he's not a pointer of any kind but he'll be my pointers best friend for a considerable while With a deer he helped track Playing with his friend Mia the great dane And playing on the beach(he doesn't have many settings other than "run" or "stop" )
