Hi everyone i have a question. I have recently rescued my gsp from a shelter but i have a question on obedience. When i first got her she didnt know anything, simple commands, her name, walking on a leash. Since i have had her for anout a year she quickly learned all of those except walking well on a leash and listening when she is excited. She is about 3 now and i think the people who owned her abused her because she is very skiddish. She has learned to trust me and listens well for the most part but my question is if anyone knows any training hints on walking and stimulating her besides excersize which we do very frequently. Thank you 

Start with a loose leash and when she pulls, stop. When she comes back praise her and continue walking. It will be slow going at I first, but she will catch on. If you start with a tight leash the automatic reaction is for the dog to pull. Also, to keep her paying attention change directions without warning. She will start paying attention to you as well.
