We have a 5 yr. old GSP named Libby who periodically (~3 wks.) breaks out with reb bumps on her belly and underarms. She bites and chews on them to exasperate the problem. Dr. believes it's a food alergy and prescribes Prednizon for the outbreaks in lieu of (or until) allergy testing. Looking for feedback from others whose best friend may have this condition as well and what they've learned on how to treat it. She's an indoor dog who loves to hunt in the tall grass behind the house.
