I adopted a GSP that unknown to me at the time had been severely abused. I have gone through so many obstacles for Maggie to gain her trust, her love, and for her to understand how to give and receive affection, and for her to understand that not everyone is out there to hurt you. Readers can expect the obstacles that we go through daily that effects everyone in our family, the trials I have gone through with Maggie, and to reach out to other people who might go through the same thing one day. It has been a struggle and though some days are rough we still love her.
